If you are 16 or over, you can order the pill online from SH:24 and receive it directly to your home or another location of your choice. This service is free for residents of Southend-on-Sea.
SH:24 provide the same oral contraception as sexual health services, GPs and pharmacies and their clinicians are on hand to carry out your initial consultation.
Once an SH:24 clinician has approved your prescription, they will post your contraception out the same day (if you order before 2pm), or the next working day (if you order after 2pm). They will send it in discreet packaging by 1st class Royal Mail. You will not have to be in or sign for the package - it will fit through your letter box.

Before prescribing a 3 month supply of ethinyoestradiol, levonorgestrel (63 pills), SH:24 will ask you a number of questions including if you smoke, your blood pressure, your weight and height, and a clinician will review your answers to ensure they prescribe safely.
